Academia has an opportunity to play an ever more important role in addressing the threats before us and the ever-widening disparities in social and economic outcomes were seeing in the United States and around the world. How can we do this? What are some of the academic reforms needed to modernize academia? This presentation will share some of the challenges and opportunities faced by academia in strengthening its ability to improve the health of people and that of the planet.
